The Mission of American Martyrs Retreat House is to provide the spiritual means in a hospitable environment for people to encounter and deepen their relationship with God.

The American Martyrs Retreat House is an Archdiocese of Dubuque retreat center established in the tradition and spirit of the early North American martyrs.  AMRH offers day long and overnight silent/conference retreats, individually directed retreats, private and group retreats, day of renewal and spiritual direction. It also hosts selected workshops and meetings. The facility includes a chapel, extensive grounds for walking, relaxation, and a gift shop.

We pray that God will continue to bless and guide the ministry of AMRH.

We have the Catholic Daughters/Women’s Retreat October 12-14, 2018. You do not have to be a Catholic Daughter to attend. There are usually several attending who are not CD’s. Fr. Jim Starbuck is the retreat director. Title: Woman Full of Grace. How each of us as human beings is full of God’s grace and because of that grace we are transformed into the person of Jesus Christ. Starts Friday night a 8 and ends with lunch on Sunday. $135. For further questions, information or to register call 319-266-3543 or email dbqamrhsec@dbqarch.org

Hi, Where can I find a list of events planned for the next several months? I was there for a weekend retreat in 2007 that was oriented toward sobriety and healing and 4th and 5th Step work. I really would love to come back if possible. If there is still a mailing list I would love to get that going again. My email is bpl2486@gmail.com. (864) 353-8158.

    Thank you so much…Brian

Brian, I will be sending out our newsletter for the next for months hopefully this week. We have a Knights of Columbus retreat this coming weekend, a New Year’s Eve Retreat December 31 – January 1. Those are the only retreats we are sponsoring in the next couple months. I will add your email to our e-list and it will let you know when the next newsletter is out and you can view it on our website.

My name is Rick Furman, I’m the resident director and co-owner of Bethany Spring Retreat Center, in New Haven, Kentucky.
I just had a retreat request for a recovery retreat. They mentioned that you had a similar retreat in the past, and that you may be a source for some information.
Is there a possibility that you could help with some pertinent information?

    Thanks – Peace & Blessings,

    Rick Furman
